This is like ordering from the takeaway, but better.
Beef or Chicken or Prawn with green peppers and mushroom is a favourite of mine from the Chinese takeaway, but I always like to try to cook myself and make it healthier (or at least I know what going into the dish)

Ingredients (four person recipe)
Two Sirloin steaks
Two green peppers
Two medium white onions
12 mushrooms
Two Tbsp crushed black pepper
Two Tbsp soy sauce
Two Tbsp oyster sauce
One Tbsp crushed/chopped garlic
Two tsp cornflour
Two tsp sesame oil
Two tsp sesame seeds for garnishing
A quarter cup of stock
Slice the steak and put in a bowl. Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, black pepper, sesame oil and cornflour (1 tsp). Mix and put in the fridge for 2 hours (preferably overnight)

Chop the onions, mushrooms and the green peppers

After the steak has been marinated, add a little oil to a frying pan and add the steak. Fry and brown/seal the steak.

After stirring and 8 mins add the mushrooms, onions, peppers and the garlic. Fry for 8 mins and then add some cornstarch (1 tsp), stock and sesame oil.

Cook for 10/15 minutes and until the onions and the peppers start to soften slightly.

Served with rice and sprinkled with sesame seeds.
Yum yum
